Welcome
You’re invited to the NASA 2024 Early Adopter Showcase, July 30-31.
Since the first Early Adopter Program hosted by the Soil Moisture Active Passive (SMAP) mission in 2010, these individuals and groups have volunteered their own time and resources to demonstrate the use of Earth observations in decision-making activities of benefit to communities worldwide. At the same time, they have provided valuable feedback to the flight projects and Distributed Active Archive Centers enabling not only high-value applications of mission data but also improvements to the data algorithms, products, and data services.

The Early Adopter Showcase will highlight the impact of the NASA Earth Science Division’s Early Adopters, discuss high-value applications of Earth Science data, and identify synergies and opportunities to strengthen community engagement. The event will bring together mission Early Adopters with representatives from NASA Headquarters, NASA Flight and Science Teams, center Earth Action champions, DAAC representatives, and representatives from initiatives with strong community ties.

Besides celebrating the work from our Early Adopters, the Showcase aims to act as a forum for insights and perspectives into:
-
Employing EO to transform decisions.
-
Building trust via Early Adopter journeys.
-
Forging productive relationships with end users.
-
Fostering a unified experience through Mission Applications.
-
Navigating new technology as a change agent.
The Early Adopter Showcase will be hosted at the YOTEL in Washington, DC with a poster session and awards ceremony at NASA HQ.
