Science Team Meeting
September 10-12, 2024

Welcome
The meeting is by invitation* to Precipitation Measurement Mission (PMM) Science Team members and specified affiliates. The meeting will take place at the Wyndham San Diego Bayside in San Diego, CA, Tuesday through Thursday, September 10-12, 2024, and will consist of plenary oral, lightning, and poster sessions covering mission/program status, partner reports, science activities, field campaign results, and other science team business.
Note there will not be additional days for working group and algorithm team sessions at this year’s meeting.

Civil servants and NASA contractors (for example, SSAI) need to register in NCTS (NCTS #50497-24) Website: https://ncts.nasa.gov/ncts.ui/index.html and select attendance requested under “My Conferences”. This needs to be submitted NO LATER THAN July 12, 2024. University personnel, whether on-site at a NASA Center or located elsewhere, DO NOT need to register in NCTS.

Foreign Nationals (without Green Card/LPR status) need to register as soon as possible so we can get the necessary approval for them to attend either in-person or virtually through NASA’s required IDMAX process.
As part of the PMM program review process, each NASA-funded Principal Investigator team is required to present at least one poster; please provide the PI name and poster title during meeting registration. International partners and other attendees are welcome to contribute posters on a space-available basis.
We encourage science team members to register and book lodging at the host hotel as soon as possible, as this helps in planning and meeting the mandatory room block requirements.
* On a space-available basis, Principal Investigators may recommend associates (students, etc.) to be added to the invitation list.
