3rd SMD and ETD Workshop on A.I. and Data Science: Leaping Toward Our Future Goals

Dan Crichton is a program manager, principal investigator, and principal computer scientist at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, which he joined in 1995. Throughout his career, Dan has been inspired to establish and participate in forward looking data science, software, and computing projects, particularly to support physical and biological science. He initiated and leads JPL's overall efforts in data science, including leading a community of over 100 data scientists, launching over 80 pilots and larger projects that span science, missions, engineering, and institutional activities.
